Report: ‘Transformers’ Star Shia LeBeouf Cuffed Then Released After Alleged LA Bar Fight

Shia LaBeouf was reportedly handcuffed on Friday night following an alleged bar fight, according to Hollyscoop, which was first to report the news.

The incident allegedly took place at Mad Bull’s Tavern in Sherman Oaks, Calif., where sources at the bar reportedly claim the actor “got a little rowdy” which resulted in Shia being punched in the face, according to the TMZ.

However, sources for TMZ – who are reportedly “close to Shia” – have a different version of the story, claiming the 24-year-old was “jumped” on his way out of the bar.

Additionally, the site’s sources claim police arrived on the scene shortly after the ruckus and handcuffed everyone involved before eventually releasing Shia.

The tavern’s security guard reportedly verified Shia’s version of the alleged altercation as well, according to the site.

A Mad Bull’s Tavern employee told Access on Saturday that the cops were not actually called to intervene — officers happened to be in the area and saw the incident take place.

The employee said there were no arrests made.

“Shia came in to have a good time and happened to get into an infraction outside,” the employee added.

Officer Hernandez of the LAPD’s Van Nuys division told Access he was unaware of the alleged incident.

Reps for Shia were not immediately available for comment when contacted by Access Hollywood on Saturday.
