Resolution Reluctance (Glam Slam)

Happy 2014!

Every year I say I am not going to make resolutions and every year I give in and make a couple.

This year, I am really late to the party, but here goes… here are my style resolutions for 2014.

1. Spend Wisely:
No more wasting money on super trendy items that don’t have a shelf life. Invest in the good stuff and you’ll always have something timeless to wear.

2. Enough Already!
I keep buying the same thing over and over again. (And yes, I pledge to quit doing this every year and yet…here I am again!) Stop the madness!

3. Buy Clothes That Fit:
You always hear “Buy clothes for the body you have, not the body you wish you have.” I am guilty of buying clothes that were too small when I was still carrying some after-baby weight. Needless to say, they sat in my closet for a while.

4. Go For Pretty Purple:
Pantone named Radiant Orchard the Color of 2014 and I can’t wait to add this flattering color to my wardrobe. Perfect for Spring!

5. Leave Comfort Zone:
I need to change up my look, which means, I need to take a break from my beloved jeans and have more dresses and feminine looks in my wardrobe.

6. Let It Go!
You win some, you lose some. If I make a bad choice, no need to beat myself up over it…just move on, it’s a new year after all!
