Robert Irwin Follows In Dad’s Footsteps In ‘Tonight Show’ Appearance

Steve Irwin’s son, Robert Irwin, made a guest appearance on “The Tonight
Show” on Thursday night.

Robert told “Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon how happy he was to be able to visit the same show his late father appeared on years ago (back when Jay Leno was the host).

“My dad was actually on ‘The Tonight Show’ quite a while ago, and so it’s really nice to be able to follow in his footsteps. It’s really great,” Robert told Jimmy.

The 13-year-old brought out several animals on the show,
including Beetlejuice, an African dwarf crocodile.

“Isn’t he just amazing? He’s gorgeous. Now, would you
like to pet him?” Robert said, showing him to Jimmy, who was a little
nervous to meet the reptile.

Robert’s older sister, Bindi Irwin, posted a pic on Instagram, showing her with her boyfriend, Chandler Powell, Robert and mom Terri Irwin backstage.

“Watching The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon – right now! So excited to see my INCREDIBLE brother,” she wrote. “This photo was taken in the Green Room backstage! Are you watching with me? x”

She also shared how much seeing her brother’s appearance meant to her.

“Tears in my eyes. So proud of @robertirwinphotography. You are more and more like Dad every day. I’m forever thankful to be your sister,” she wrote.
