Robert Pattinson To Play Lawrence Of Arabia (Report)

Robert Pattinson is set to follow in the footsteps of the legendary Peter O’Toole, by playing Lawrence of Arabia.

The “Cosmopolis” star will star alongside Naomi Watts in “Queen of the Desert,” Variety reported on Tuesday.

The movie, from Werner Herzog, focuses on English writer Gertrude Bell, played by Naomi.

Robert will play T.E. Lawrence, a British officer, who became known as Lawrence of Arabia.

According to the trade mag, production on the film begins in the fall.

Naomi is currently shooting “Diana,” where she stars as the late Princess Diana.
