“Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb” star Robin Williams is gone, but he will never be forgotten.

The late actor’s co-stars shared fond memories of the star at the film’s premiere on Thursday night in New York.

“Great warmth” and “kindness” are two terms Owen Wilson used to describe Robin.

“I was always paired with him at press junkets and you know, just sitting next to him, seeing that his mind just worked in a different way from other people’s; the way he could just sort of riff and be so funny,” Owen remembered.

Rebel Wilson, a newcomer to the “Night at the Museum” franchise, also had warm memories of the late actor.

“I just I got to hang out with him for two nights on the set in London he was just the kindest, most caring, generous comedian probably that I’ve ever met,” Rebel said. “I got a message from his daughter a few days ago saying that he really liked our chat when we were in London and that he thought very highly of me and I thought it was like the world’s biggest compliment, honestly. I just feel very lucky and privileged that I got to spend some time with him.”

Robin’s widow, Susan Schneider, also walked the carpet to support her late husband’s latest film release. She posed for photographs and could be seen hugging director Shawn Levy.

“This morning, I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one of its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings. I am utterly heartbroken. On behalf of Robin’s family, we are asking for privacy during our time of profound grief. As he is remembered, it is our hope the focus will not be on Robin’s death, but on the countless moments of joy and laughter he gave to millions,” Susan said in a statement released following the August 11 confirmation of Robin’s passing.

“Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb” opens in theaters on Christmas Day.
