Roseanne Barr Excited To Be Roasted By Glee Star Jane Lynch: ‘Bring It!’

Roseanne Barr is exceptionally talented when it comes to joke delivery, but how will she fair as the butt of all jokes at her upcoming Comedy Central roast?

Access Hollywood was exclusively on set with the funnywoman as she shot promos for the show, and the 59-year-old star said she’s not intimidated in the slightest.

“I’m not nervous at all,” Roseanne told Access. “It’s gonna be a blast!”

“Glee” star Jane Lynch will act as Roast Master for the big night – hurling Sue Sylvesters-style zingers at her pal — and Roseanne said she can’t wait to hear Jane’s material.

“Bring it, bitch! Bring it, Jane! Come on, let’s see what you got,” Roseanne told Access, with a laugh. “She’s got a lot! I just love her — she is one of the best I’ve ever seen. She’s the funniest friggin’ thing I’ve ever seen.

“I’m very thrilled that she’s on,” she added.

So, will any subjects be off limits?

“Of course. I’ve had my lawyers contact their lawyers and we’ve gone through it all,” she joked. “Certain things will be allowed — a very narrow focus — and you know, I’m on top of it and if they dare in any way to go against the preordained guidelines, they’ll pay!”

“The Comedy Central Roast of Roseanne” will air on August 12 at 10 PM ET/PT on Comedy Central.
