Sacha Baron Cohen’s ‘Dictator’ Dumps Ashes On Ryan Seacrest On Oscar Red Carpet

Sacha Baron Cohen, dressed as General Aladeen from his upcoming movie “The Dictator,” hit the Oscar red carpet on Sunday and pranked E!‘s Ryan Seacrest spilling the “ashes” of late North Korean leader Kim Jong-il all over Seacrest’s tuxedo jacket.

“Ryan, hello! Death to the West!” Cohen said, dressed as “The Dictator” – accompanied by two sexy ladies in military garb — on the red carpet at the 84th Annual Academy Awards.

Cohen – dressed in a white military uniform – told Ryan that he was sporting John Galliano (the designer who made headlines for his anti-Semitic remarks in 2011) on Hollywood’s big night.

“As Sadaam Hussein once said to me, ‘Socks are socks, don’t waste money,’” Cohen explained.

The E! host then asked about the perks of attending the Oscars, and the shenanigans started.

“It gave me an opportunity to bring my dear friend and doubles tennis partner, Kim Jong-il,” Cohen said holding urn adorned with the face of the late North Korean leader. “It was his dream to come to the Oscars and be sprinkled over the red carpet and Halle Berry’s chest again.”

Cohen then spilled the contents of the urn on Seacrest and all over the red carpet.

“We need to clean this up!” the actor called out from the red carpet. “But if someone asks you what you are wearing, say Kim Jong-il!”

“I had an idea something was coming, I didn’t know in what fashion or form,” Seacrest said as Cohen and his ladies made their way down the red carpet.

Following the incident, Ryan Tweeted, “My mom always told me to pack two jackets for red carpets, always wondered why. Now I know.”
