Scandal Casting News Falls ‘Short’: “Scandal” was in the midst of a mini casting scandal this week, when a report claimed that Columbus Short’s character, Harrison Wright, would be replaced by “World War Z” actor Eric West. Show creator Shonda Rhimes channeled her inner Olivia Pope and squashed the report, Tweeting, “I’ve never heard of Eric West. Harrison is not being recast EVER. How about reporters CHECK THEIR SOURCES before running with a story?” She then followed up with “Um, @Deadline? Handle yourself,” a Tweet that ousted former Deadline queen Nikki Finke was sure to find delight in!
