'Scream' Season 2: Premiere Date & New Cast Members Announced

"Scream" Season 2 has a premiere date on MTV.

The drama will return on May 31 at 10 PM ET/PT, and include new cast members Kiana Ledé, Santiago Segura, Anthony Ruivivar, Austin Highsmith, Sean Grandillo and Karina Logue.

The new season of the show will pick up with Emma (Willa Fitzgerald) as she returns to Lakewood from a retreat she went on for several months (to recover from the horrors of Season 1).

Folks are tip-toeing around her, as they wonder whether she's managed to get over the killer's crimes, according to MTV.

Audrey (Bex Taylor-Klaus) is keeping secret her connection to the killer, but she's "getting harassed by someone who knows the truth," per the network.

"Brooke and Jake are also keeping secrets — they are hiding a budding romance from Mayor Maddox. And, Noah is getting closer and closer to the truth about the season one murders. Lakewood’s murderous past, both recent and distant, are once again brought to focus – with this Killer’s psychotic mind-game intent on bringing Lakewood’s heroes down in a storm of betrayal and bloodshed," the network said in a release.
