Heidi Klum has recently been spotted getting close to her bodyguard of four years, Martin Kristen, and her soon-to-be ex-husband, Seal, claims there’s more to Heidi and Martin’s relationship than meets the eye.
After photographers captured the “Project Runway” host with her arm around Martin during a family vacation in Italy last week, Seal spoke out regarding Heidi’s possible new relationship, saying his first priority is the happiness of his four children.
“To be quite honest, if there is going to be somebody else in their lives, I’d much rather it was a familiar face,” Seal told TMZ on Friday, when asked how he felt about Heidi’s rumored relationship with Martin. “I guess the only thing I would have preferred is that — I guess I didn’t expect any better from [Martin], I would have preferred Heidi show a little bit more class, and at least wait until we separated first before deciding to fornicate with the help, as it were.”
Adding, “But I guess you now all have the answer that you’ve been looking for for the past seven months.”
Despite Seal’s cheating accusations, a friend of Heidi’s told People the supermodel mom is not “dating” Martin.
“It’s complicated,” the friend told the mag. “Their relationship is hard to define.”
The pal reportedly added that Heidi has been going through “a difficult time” since separating from Seal in January.
“Her inner circle of people she trusts is getting smaller and smaller,” the friend said. “[Martin] is her No. 1 confidante.”
Heidi filed for divorce from the “Kiss from a Rose” singer in April after seven years of marriage.
Days later, Seal filed his own papers requesting to end the union.
A rep for Heidi was not immediately available for comment on Seal’s accusations when contacted by Access Hollywood on Saturday.
