Sean Penn & Charlize Theron Get A Little Help From Friends For Haitian Relief

For the fourth year in a row, Sean Penn’s annual Help Haiti Home gala brought out some of the biggest names in Hollywood.

Among those in attendance were Reese Witherspoon, Salma Hayek, Pamela Anderson, Adrien Brody, Ben Stiller and Sean’s rumored fiancee, Charlize Theron, who joined him on the red carpet before he spoke with Access Hollywood.

“It’s a worthy project,” Penn said of his non-profit J/P Haitian Relief Organization, which helps earthquake survivors in Haiti with relocation, community development and medical care.

“I’ve just gotten back. I go quite a bit,” he added.

The ambassador-at-large for Haiti also revealed that he took Theron with him on his last trip to the Caribbean country.

“We had a great time,” Penn explained. “She understands the causes pretty well. She’s worked in developing countries quite a bit.”

Like the year before, Penn’s fundraiser took place at The Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills. The reception featured a special performance from singer Chris Martin and an awards ceremony for former President Bill Clinton.
