Selena Gomez Talks Staying Young & Finding The Perfect Boy

Disney star Selena Gomez may be 18, but she doesn’t feel like a grownup just yet.

“I’m 18, but I feel like I’m still 15,” the actress and singer told Latina magazine, for its October 2010 cover story. “I feel very young at heart, and I still want to jump up and down on my bed singing and rocking out.”

Selena, who previously dated Nick Jonas (who turns 18 himself on September 16), told the mag that she still hasn’t got the whole romance thing figured out.

“You never really know when you’re in love at this age. I don’t know what love is,” she said.

Selena did admit, however, that she has an idea of what the perfect boy would be like.

“I would like someone who is not cool and who is really fun to be around and loves family and has good morals,” she said.

In addition to finding the right boy, “The Wizards of Waverly Place” star admitted she wants to learn Spanish.

“I really need to learn my language. I practice, but I can understand it better than I can speak it,” she said.

Beyond learning Spanish, the star of “Ramona and Beezus” said that as she moves upward through Hollywood, she is being cautious.

“I’m not just going to slap my name on something,” she said. “I want to be really passionate about everything I do, so it’s all about timing.”
