Sherri Shepherd Shoots Down ‘DWTS’ Cheating Rumors & Reveals Technical Difficulties With ‘Boobs’

Sherri Shepherd and her “Dancing with the Stars” partner Val Chmerkovskiy are getting ready to take the ballroom by storm. The outspoken duo will perform the jive as their debut dance when the show premieres on March 19, and “The View” co-host tells Access Hollywood her curvy body is causing technical difficulties with the dance’s ultra-jumpy nature.

“My boobs — I’m having to stand up [straight] and I keep telling Val, ‘It’s so much weight!’” Sherri told Access Hollywood correspondent Jill Martin at the couple’s “DWTS” rehearsal in New York City on Thursday. “So… any of these dances– the jive, everything — it makes me feel like I’m about to topple.

“It’s not a problem, by the way,” Val joked, complimenting his partner’s feminine figure. “I have no problem with it.

“We’ve been doing the jive. She has to wear a mouth guard,” he added with a laugh.

Despite the bosom bouncing, Jill pointed out that Sherri’s upper body assets will give her an extra sexy edge in her “Dancing” costumes.

“Well, I hope so,” Sherri said. “If they could put in Wendy Williams and keep her [chest] in — but I don’t think Wendy did the jive, so I don’t know!”

Sherri also revealed she’s been practicing her moves in the comfort of her own home – though maneuvering around household items can prove challenging.

“I dance for my son. I tried to do a turn that [Val] taught me, and I slid into the refrigerator,” she said. “But never fear, I’m going to get it.”

She also addressed rumors she may have broken show rules by taking dance lessons with Val’s brother Maks.

“Let’s clear up the rumors here on Access Hollywood,” Jill said. “Did you cheat and dance before the real rehearsals started?”

“No, I did not cheat. I did not dance with Maksim. I did not dance with my partner Val at all,” Sherri said. “I did not break any rules. The little classes I did take — it didn’t help me at all here. It didn’t help me one bit.

“It helped me have better sex with my husband,” she added. “But it didn’t help me [with the show] one bit, not one bit.”

“Just take us through what happened then. You were spotted in December in one of Maks’ studios,” Jill pressed.

“Spotted in December in one of Maks’ studios, but like I said at ‘The View,’ we did a video segment on ‘The View’ of my wedding, where I had to learn how to dance,” Sherri explained. “I love to dance and I’ve take YMCA classes and classes at the Learning Annex, and Stripper-cize and pole dancing.

“So, all kinds of classes, and after my wedding dance, I loved it,” she continued. “So, I went and took some more classes because I loved it so much.”
