Sienna Miller has kept her personal life private since she became pregnant with her first child – Marlowe, who she gave birth to last month — but on Wednesday, she hinted her baby has one healthy set of lungs.
Asked by Tippi Hedren how Marlowe was doing at “The Girl” portion of HBO’s Television Critics Association summer tour session in Beverly Hills, Sienna, who attended the press event via her cell phone, said, “She’s screaming upstairs.”
She also hinted that motherhood is having an effect on the British beauty.
“My brain doesn’t work, as you’ll hear,” Sienna said.
Sienna plays Tippi in HBO’s October-due “The Girl” about Alfred Hitchcock’s obsession with his “The Birds” leading lady.
Clips of the film screened at the event revealed a dark and complex relationship, painting the famed director as a sex pest.
“People have said, ‘Was he in love with you?’ I said, ‘No he wasn’t. When you love someone you treat them well,’” Tippi said of her time working with Hitchcock. “I think we’re dealing with a mind here that is incomprehensible and I certainly am not capable of discerning what is going through his mind or why.”
Tippi noted, for the record, that her time with Hitchcock wasn’t all doom and gloom.
“I learned so much from that man about motion pictures,” she said. “It wasn’t a constant barragement of harassment to me.
“There were times of delight and and joy — all kinds of different things,” she added.
