Sinead O’Connor Weds In A Pink Cadillac In Las Vegas

Sinead O’Connor got married in true Las Vegas style on Thursday – in the back of a pink Cadillac at the same chapel where Britney Spears and Elvis Presley also got married.

Just as the singer announced on her website on Wednesday, she tied the knot with Barry Herridge, a therapist, on her 45th birthday.

The bride wore a light pink low-cut dress that showed off her many tattoos and carried a bouquet of red roses. The groom sported a grey suit with a light pink shirt to match Sinead’s dress.

The happy couple affectionately kissed and cuddled – along with wiping away a few tears – in the back of the classic car while exchanging vows.

The “Nothing Compares 2 U” singer told photographers that they had “no time” for a honeymoon, but selected Sin City for their nuptials because it was “rock and roll.”

After the ceremony, the couple spent the night at a Las Vegas area hotel.

This marks the singer’s fourth marriage. She divorced longtime friend and collaborator Steve Cooney in April after being together for just eight months.

Sinead, who has four children from previous relationships, wed music producer John Reynolds in 1989 and journalist Nicholas Sommerlad in 2001.
