Sofia Vergara had a fabulous time at Sunday night’s Emmy Awards, where her show, “Modern Family,” picked up the Outstanding Comedy Award, but without her boyfriend by her side, the night wasn’t perfect.
Sofia’s boyfriend, Nick Loeb, a businessman and former Florida Senate candidate, has been hospitalized since last week, following a serious car crash.
“He’s not well, you know,” Sofia told Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson on the red carpet on Sunday night, shortly before heading into the Emmy Awards.
Sofia added that Nick really wanted to be at the event to support his leading lady in life.
“He would have been here and it would have been the perfect night of my life because I have my family… My family from Colombia. My son is here,” she said. “And you know [Nick’s] in the hospital. He’s watching it on TV.”
Sofia said Nick, who she previously revealed on Twitter has a pelvis fracture and is in lots of pain, has a lot of healing to do.
“He’s not going to be good to go for a long time, but I miss him,” she said.
