‘The 100’: Eliza Taylor On Clarke & Anya Teaming Up, How Finn Is Changing

Eliza Taylor’s Clarke is in for a new adventure on The CW’s “The 100,” teaming up with Anya following their escape from Mount Weather.

But, after Anya (Dichen Lachman) knocked Clarke out following their jump to freedom, it’s unlikely there will be smooth sailing.

“[Anya has] basically decided that she has to take her back to the commander of The Grounders as sort of a reward and hopefully a way back into living with her people,” Eliza told Access Hollywood.

As Anya and Clarke know, The Grounders are being farmed for their blood. It’s being used to help repair the people of Mount Weather (who kind of like vampires) can’t be exposed to the elements because their DNA never mutated enough to allow them to occupy a post-apocalyptic earth.

Eliza said she was surprised when she read that twist in the script from “The 100” writers.

“It was really twisted. I was very unsettled by it, but it’s really cool. That’s what I love about our show is that it really — just when you think it can’t get any weirder, it gets weirder. It’s great. I really love it,” she said.

Elsewhere in the storyline, Clarke’s one time love, Finn (Thomas McDonell), has gone to extreme lengths to find her (even killing someone in last week’s episode). Eliza said should the characters be reunited, it might not be a cuddly reunion.

“I think that reunion’s going to be really interesting because they have both actually changed so much in those few episodes,” she said. “I do think it’s gonna be difficult for Clarke to look at him the same way after hearing the lengths that he’s gone to and there’s a lot of guilt there as well because he was doing all this to find her.”

As the series continues its second season on The CW, don’t expect the pace to drop.

“It’s crazy,” she said of the upcoming episodes. “That’s what I love about it. Every time I get a script and I think we’re all twisted out, there’s more twists.”

“The 100” continues Wednesdays at 9/8c on The CW.
