‘The Hills’ To Return September 29

The first episode of the Lauren Conrad-free “Hills” will hit the airwaves of MTV on September 29, the network confirmed to Access Hollywood on Wednesday.

Earlier this year, after four seasons of having her life — and all the dramas that came with it — documented, Lauren opted out of the popular reality show.

“Good riddance LC,” “Hills” villain Spencer Pratt told AccessHollywood.com earlier this year. “We’d love to have you back, but if you don’t, we’re cool with K-Cavi, [Kristin Cavallari].”

Lauren’s former “Laguna Beach” reality co-star, Kristin, was brought in to fill the void left by her former high school frenemy.

“I love Kristin. If it weren’t for her, we wouldn’t be together,” Heidi Pratt previously told Access of her relationship with Spencer.

And with a new blonde in town, Heidi said there will be more reality rollercoasters.

“We’re more excited than you can imagine. She’s bringing the drama, the craziness,” Heidi explained. “I mean, Lauren hadn’t even dated on three seasons, so now [Kristin’s] going to bring the serial dating back, which I think the fans will love.”
