A promo for “The Walking Dead” companion series is coming!

AMC has announced that during the 90-minute “TWD” Season 5 finale, airing this Sunday night, the first promo for the spinoff will air.

The companion series still doesn’t have a title, but it will premiere in late summer, with its second season airing in 2016.

Cliff Curtis, Kim Dickens, Frank Dillane and Alycia Debnam Carey star in the show, which seems like it will take place earlier than “TWD” is set.

“From the beginning of ‘The Walking Dead’ on AMC, we’ve been asked questions about what was going on in other parts of the zombie apocalypse, and what it looked like as the world really did ‘turn.’ Through this new series, we’re going to find out,” Charlie Collier, AMC president, said in a statement earlier this month, when news of the companion series’ pickup was announced.

Season 1 of the spinoff will be made up of six one-hour episodes.

As for “TWD” Season 5 finale, Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) will face trouble on a run, while Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and the group in Alexandria will “continue to feel like outsiders,” according to the episode description released by AMC.

The Season 5 finale episode, titled, “Conquer,” was written by showrunner Scott Gimple and writer Seth Hoffman, and directed by Greg Nicotero.

“TWD” airs Sunday at 9 PM ET/PT on AMC.
