is preparing to be a first and second-time dad!
On
Wednesday, the country star announced that he and wife Lauren Akins have two
little ones on the way – but, it’s not what you might think.
While Lauren
is pregnant with one baby-to-be, the couple also revealed they’re in the process
of adopting a child from Africa.
“Safe to say life is about to get crazy,” Thomas wrote on Instagram, captioning a photo of him and Lauren holding up giant letter balloons spelling “BABY.”
Lauren also weighed in on the double surprise, sharing the same photo on her own Instagram page alongside an excited caption.

“Our hearts are exploding with happiness,” she wrote of the news.
The 26-year-old singer married Lauren in 2012. The lovebirds also appeared together in the music video for his Grammy-nominated song “Die a Happy Man.”
