Tom Cruise has purchased a Beverly Hills home for his family that cost close to $35 million, reports the LA Times.
Furthermore, David & Victoria Beckham may be new additions to the neighborhood Cruise currently lives in.
According to the report, the new property that Cruise bought was not on the market. The traditional-style residence was built in 1937 with seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms, and was expanded from its original 10,000 square feet after it changed hands four years ago, say real estate sources not involved in the deal.
The home, behind gates, is reportedly on 1.3 acres. It has a long driveway, a tennis court and a pool.
The Beckhams’ new home is reportedly near the rented home of Cruise, who lives there with wife Katie Holmes and daughter Suri.
The new 13,000-square-foot Beckham residence was reportedly built on speculation this year on slightly more than an acre of land, with city and ocean views. It is described as resembling an Italian Villa.
The lease on the Cruise family’s current home is reportedly up in 2008. It is not yet known when they plan to move in to the new home.
