Tori Spelling: Dean McDermott & I Are ‘Stronger Than Ever’

Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott have had their (very public) ups and downs, but today, they’re “really great.”

“We can only go day by day, because, you know, we are working on things. Today, we’re stronger than ever,” Tori told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover on Tuesday’s Access Hollywood Live, as she patted Dean’s knee. “We’re really great. We’re in a really great place.”

Dean agreed, and said while he’s upset that he cheated on Tori and caused so much pain, it’s made their bond much stronger.

“I’ve said it before – it’s unfortunate that these events took place to get us where we are today, because today we’re stronger and more in love than ever. We have a healthier relationship because of it, we’re communicating, we’re working on ourselves,” he said. “It unfortunately took that – especially for me– to sit me down and go, ‘You need to deal with some things.'”

Added Tori, “Yeah. We wish we’d have found out how to communicate without infidelity, obviously, but we can’t take back the past.”

While Dean believes putting his most vulnerable moments on camera for the public to watch and criticize isn’t optimal for his health, Tori said she loves their reality show, “True Tori.”

“I enjoy the experience. As a reality person, I watch a lot of reality TV. And I’m proud of what we put out there, because it’s as real as I’ve seen,” she said. “Watching other shows, I can see what’s produced, because I’m in the thick of it. I’m happy to say that ours is completely legit.

“People might say at times it’s too heavy, but it’s what’s really going on,” she added. “We’re not perfect – no couple is.”

As for Tori’s breast implants, they’ll soon be removed (but Dean will love her “pancake t*tties” anyway, remember?).

“They’re coming out in the new year – January,” she said, adding that she’ll go implant-free for three-four months before deciding if she wants to leave them out or get new implants.
