‘True Blood’ Stars Anna Paquin & Stephen Moyer Marry In Malibu

“True Blood” stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer have married, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

“Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin were married on Saturday evening in Malibu surrounded by their family and friends,” a rep for the actress confirmed to Access in a statement.

A source told People that the bride wore a white halter-neck gown and jewelry by Neil Lane, while Stephen donned a dark suit.

“It was a beautiful evening to get married and the sunset was gorgeous. Anna and Stephen seemed very excited to celebrate their wedding day with their families and close friends,” the source told the mag.

The bride exchanged vows with her groom beneath a white tent on the beach, before moving to a private oceanfront residence for the reception, Us Weekly reported.

Anna and Stephen, who play on-screen lovers – waitress and telepath Sookie Stackhouse and vampire Bill Compton — in “True Blood,” were reportedly joined at their wedding by a host of their cast and crew, including creator Alan Ball, Ryan Kwanten (Jason Stackhouse), Sam Trammell (Sam Merlotte), Rutina Wesley (Tara Thornton) and Carrie Preston (Arlene Fowler), according to the mags. Additionally, Carrie’s husband, former “Lost” star Michael Emerson, and Elijah Wood were also reportedly present.

Many guests reportedly brought gifts in purple boxes with purple bows, according to Us Weekly.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, the 40-year-old Brit – who has two children from prior relationships – proposed to the 28-year-old Oscar winner in Hawaii because of a song that was used on an episode of “True Blood.”

“There was a song in the first season, ‘White Sandy Beach in Hawaii,’ which was kind of funny and ironic,” he told Access Hollywood’s Laura Saltman last year. “[It] all started out as a joke and then we decided to go to Hawaii with my kids.”
