Will John Stamos’ ‘Glee’ Role Become A Full-Time Gig?

John Stamos’ hunky dentist character, Dr. Carl Howell, married Emma Pillsbury on “Glee,” but will the actor’s role become a full-time job?

Access Hollywood caught up with John while he filmed a guest spot on NBC’s “Law & Order: SVU,” where he gave us the scoop on his “Glee” future.

“I think the story is going to end this season,” he told Access.

“I’m going to back and do a few more [episodes.] Initially they brought him on to be in a triangle with Will and Emma,” he said referring to Jayma Mays and Matthew Morrison’s characters.

According to John – and many of his vocal Twitter followers –New Directions’ leader Will and school guidance counselor Emma still have a future together.

“Everyone wants to see Emma and Will together,” John said with a smile.

On Tuesday’s episode of “Glee,” John’s character gets candid about his lack of a sex life, when substitute teacher Holly Holliday (Gwyneth Paltrow) returns.

“We had to tell Gwyneth Paltrow about our sex life, which was non-existent… if you watch the show, [you’ll know my wife] is a virgin. And I’m married to her for four months… that crazy ‘Glee’!” he told Access.

The 47-year-old actor said he’s loved every second he’s spent working on the hit FOX series.

“It’s been everything that people would expect. It’s been fantastic, I have a great time when I’m on the show… it’s a very colorful cast, the kids, the adults, the music, the hormones. It’s great!” he continued. “They have real talent these kids and the adults too.”
