Will Smith Proud Of Daughter Willow: She’s ‘Magic’

Will Smith is headed back to the big screen in “Men in Black 3” after a three-year hiatus, where the actor happily spent more time with his family, helming the promising careers of son Jaden and daughter Willow – and the proud dad said the fruits of his labors are paying off.

“There is something that that little girl has,” a beaming Will told Access Hollywood at the “MiB 3” premiere in New York City on Wednesday night, while watching 11-year-old daughter Willow pose for photos and adoring fans on the red carpet. “There is some magic that is really connecting with people that I just don’t want to mess it up.

“It’s really, really amazing to watch just how people react to her,” he added.

For Will, 43, taking a few years off was a dream come true.

“Getting that time in with the family, it’s been like, just for me, it’s something I’ve dreamed about for a long time when I was a little kid I used to watch ‘Dallas,’” he said. “And I used to love how everybody lived on the same property and how everybody came to breakfast together… so, it’s like I’ve been building ‘Dallas’ in my mind my whole life, so [it’s] really great to see how it’s starting to come to fruition.”

Catch Will, along with Tommy Lee Jones and Josh Brolin, in “Men in Black 3” – in theaters on Friday.
