Woman Found In Sheen’s Hotel Room Plans To Sue; Sheen’s Rep Denies Allegations

Capri Anderson, the adult film actress found in Charlie Sheen’s New York City hotel room last month, appeared on ABC’s “Good Morning America” on Monday with her lawyer Keith M. Davidson and claimed she was planning on suing the actor.

“Towards the latter half of the night, it got really bad. He started yelling racial slurs,” Anderson claimed during an interview on “GMA” with George Stephanopoulos. “But it wasn’t until he put his hands around my neck that I really thought to myself, ‘You have gotten yourself in a bad, bad situation.’

“It’s not right to hurt people,” she continued. “It’s not right to scare people. It’s not right to carry on with such disregard for the people around you.”

Anderson said she’s suing for battery and false imprisonment. She said she would also be filing a criminal report with New York police.

On Monday, Sheen’s rep denied Anderson’s allegations.

“Ms. Capri never made any allegation to the police of any wrongful conduct on the part of Mr. Sheen the night of the incident and she had every opportunity to do so,” the actor’s rep said in a statement to Access Hollywood.

“She also posted on her website that she was ‘fine’ and if you wanted to see more of her, for a price, one could enter the website. She has been to a number of law firms who have refused her case because they doubt her credibility. A number of news organizations have refused her story for the same reasons,” the statement continued. “If she pursues legal action, we will defend this vigorously. These allegations against Mr. Sheen are completely false, and are a blatant attempt to cash in on his celebrity.”

Stephanopoulos asked Anderson and her lawyer about Sheen’s denial during the interview.

“Did you try to get money from Mr. Sheen or his lawyers?” Stephanopoulos asked, after he read Sheen’s denial to her.

“No, as a matter of fact, just the opposite, it was Mr. Sheen that sent Ms. Anderson a text message a day, or two days, after the incident, offering her money for her silence,” her lawyer claimed.

“He offered me a sum of money for my silence,” Anderson claimed.

Her lawyer would not say how much money Sheen allegedly offered Anderson, but referred to it as “a substantial amount of money.”

Anderson said she was “upset and shocked” after Sheen allegedly attempted to contact her following the incident.

Anderson’s lawyer went on to say that he could not confirm or deny if they have spoken to Sheen or his lawyers regarding a possible settlement since the actor first allegedly contacted her.

More of Capri Anderson’s interview will air on ABC’s “Nightline” on Monday.
