Writers Guild Nominees For TV Announced!

LOS ANGELES (December 14, 2006) — A lot of actors say it’s the writing that makes their shows. And, the Writers Guild is announcing this year’s nominations for Writers Guild Awards.

“Deadwood,” “24,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Lost” and “The Sopranos” are nominated for dramas.

For comedy, it’s “Arrested Development,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Entourage,” “The Office” and “30 Rock.”

Up for best new series are “30 Rock,” “Friday Night Lights,” “Heroes,” “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip” and “Ugly Betty.”

Film nominees will be announced later. The awards will be presented simultaneously in Los Angeles and New York on February eleventh.
