Zoe Saldana & Fiance Split After 11-Year Relationship

Zoe Saldana and her fiance, entrepreneur Keith Britton, have called it quits.

After more than a decade-long relationship, the “Avatar” and “Star Trek” beauty and her former beau “have amicably separated after 11 years,” Saldana’s rep said in a statement to Access Hollywood on Saturday.

In addition to their romantic ties, Saldana, 33, and Britton, 35, are also business partners, having co-founded My Fashion Date Base (a fashion website), and will continue to work together in that capacity.

“Saldana and Britton remain committed business partners as co-founders of fashion resource MyFDB.com. Respect of their privacy is appreciated during this time,” the statement continued.

While the “Colombiana” star has yet to make a direct statement regarding the split, on Friday she Tweeted, “‘You, yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.’ – Buddha.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, the former couple announced their engagement in June 2010 after 10 years of dating.

At the time, the actress told Access that Britton was very supportive of her life in the Hollywood spotlight, and that she felt he was the only person who knew “the real Zoe.”

“He’s a very independent soul,” she told Access’ Shaun Robinson at the Women In Film 2010 Crystal + Lucy Awards. “He understands what I do, but this is not what he fell in love with and that’s what I love.”
