Kerry Washington Gets Emotional Paying Tribute To Michael K. Williams At 2021 Emmy Awards
Kerry Washington paid tribute to Michael K. Williams at Sunday’s 2021 Emmy Awards. The actor who was known for his roles in “The Wire” and “Lovecraft Country” was found dead at the age of 54 in his Brooklyn apartment on Sept. 6. During her speech, Kerry talked about the impact his career will have on the world. “Michael, I know you’re here because you wouldn’t miss this. Your excellence, your artistry will endure. We love you,” she said.
