Angelina Jolie: Married Life Feels ‘Different’

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were together for nine years before tying the knot this summer.

Despite the fact that couple lived together long before their wedding, the actress said her relationship with Brad has changed since getting married.”

“It does feel different,” Angelina told Vanity Fair in an interview for their December issue. “It feels nice to be husband and wife.”

The 39-year-old actress shared part of the vows her and Brad’s six children wrote for them.

“They did not expect us never to fight, but they made us promise to always say, ‘Sorry,’ if we do,” she told the mag. “So they said, ‘Do you?,’ and we said, ‘We do!'”

Angelina is known for her humanitarian work across the globe, prompting VF to ask if she’d ever consider getting into politics, in either an elected or appointed position.

“When you work as a humanitarian, you are conscious that politics have to be considered, because if you really want to make an extreme change, then you have a responsibility,” she said. “But I honestly don’t know in what role I would be more useful—I am conscious of what I do for a living, and that [could] make it less possible.”

Adding, “I am open.”

Vanity Fair hits newsstands on November 11.
