Ashley Judds husband, racecar driver Dario Franchitti, won the Indianapolis 500 on Sunday.
The actress braved the elements to cheer on her husband of six years as he motored to victory in the rain-soaked, abbreviated race (the race was stopped after 415 of the races 500 miles due to weather).
As Franchitti, 34, enjoyed his customary victory lap, a soaked and sundress wearing-Judd climbed the pit wall and dashed towards the celebration.
“I can’t believe it. It’s the Indy 500!” Franchitti said. “To
be a member of this club is fantastic. I kind of have half of an idea of what it means to win this race. I’m so happy.”
Judd, 39, stars in the new thriller Bug, which took in an estimated $3.3 million this weekend at the box office.
