Backstreet Boys Singer Nick Carter Arrested In Florida

Nick Carter has been arrested.

The Backstreet Boy was taken into custody in Key West, Fla.,
on Wednesday night, according to the Monroe County Detention Center inmate log.

Charges for the singer have not yet been released, but multiple
reports, including E! News, cite that authorities apprehended Carter at Hog’s
Breath Saloon.

A manager for the venue told Access Hollywood he could neither
confirm nor deny Carter was there.

This isn’t Carter’s first brush with the law. He was previously
booked in 2002 after a nightclub incident in Tampa. According to E! News, charges
were dismissed as part of a plea deal in which he agreed to perform community
service and pay a fine.

In 2005, Carter reportedly pled guilty to misdemeanor drunk
driving and was ordered to a three-month alcohol treatment program.

The 35-year-old “Dancing with the Stars” runner-up
is currently expecting his first child with wife Lauren Kitt. They formally announced
her pregnancy during a live taping of the hit reality competition in November.

Access Hollywood has reached out to Carter’s rep for
comment.
