Six years strong! Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher are celebrating a special milestone.
The country superstar and her hockey pro husband commemorated their six-year wedding anniversary on Sunday, marking the occasion with heartfelt social media tributes in each other's honor.
"Six years ago today, I said 'I do,' to this handsome fella. I meant it then and I mean it now," Carrie wrote on Instagram, captioning a photo of her and Mike enjoying a romantic seaside meal. "God put us together and continues to bless our marriage. I couldn't imagine this life without you, @mfisher1212 I am thankful for these past six years together (and, of course, for our beautiful son, Isaiah) and I look forward to spending the rest of our lives in love."
The Nashville Predators center remembered his and Carrie's big day with a throwback Instagram snap from their wedding, and offered a sweetly humorous take on the memory.
"6 years ago today we were married. Time sure does fly when you're having fun and you marry up," Mike joked in his caption. "I'm very grateful to have an amazing wife and mother by my side!!"
The couple set out for Cabo San Lucas before their big day, and Carrie kept fans updated on the trip with a series of fun-in-the-sun pics – including a peek at her enviable bikini bod.
33-year-old admitted that even she isn't immune to indulging on vacation.
"This week is proof that you can't out-gym a crappy diet!" Carrie tweeted. "I keep working out, but I keep eating chips & drinking margaritas! #gettingfluffy."
Carrie and Mike have been together since 2008 and married at the Ritz-Carlton Lodge in Reynolds Plantation, Ga. two years later. They welcomed their son, Isaiah, in February 2015.
