Christina Aguilera Headed To ‘Nashville’

Christina Aguilera is going a little bit country!

The singer/ “Voice” coach is joining ABC’s “Nashville,” Access Hollywood has confirmed.

Xtina will guest star on multiple episodes of the drama as a pop star named Jade St. John.

Jade arrives on the scene in Nashville for two nights, where she’s on a vacation from her life.

Christina’s character has been in the pop world for a decade, but has longed to record a country album, which her label has squashed.

This will mark the singer’s second acting gig. She previously starred in 2010’s “Burlesque” with Cher.

“Nashville” airs Wednesdays at 10 PM on ABC. Christina’s multi-episode arc will air this spring.
