It appears “Life” is over for Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie.
E! has pulled the plug on “The Simple Life,” Access Hollywood has confirmed.
On the heels of both stars receiving jail sentences, the cable network has decided to yank the show from the schedule.
A rep for the network told Access, “‘Simple Life’ has been a wonderful addition to the E! schedule for two years and we will always be grateful to Paris and Nicole for their hard work and graciousness.”
The series finale will air August 5.
Last week, Nicole was sentenced to four days in jail stemming from a December 2006 incident which found the socialite driving the wrong way down a LA freeway.
Nicole, who also received three years probation, was ordered to complete her sentence before September 28.
On June 26, pal Paris was let out of jail after 23 days behind bars, which also came from a DUI arrest.
