Ed Sheeran is back and better than ever with two new
On Friday, his first new songs since 2015, “Shape of
You” and “Castle on the Hill,” were released along with official lyric videos.
The Grammy winner was excited about his return to the music
“I’ve been working hard on the new material and I hope
you can be as excited about it as I am,” he said in an official statement.
“I really wanted to show two different sides to my music that I’m equally
as passionate about and I just knew I wanted to roll with two songs at the same
time. I’m absolutely buzzing to be back.”
“Shape of You” was co-written by Ed, Snow Patrol’s
Johnny McDaid and musician Stevie Mac, while “Castle on the Hill” was
written and produced by Ed and Benny Blanco.
“Shape of You” and “Castle on the Hill”
