Crime fighting in “Gotham” will continue for
another season.
On Wednesday, Fox announced it had renewed the series for a
third season.
“It
takes a very special team to tell the tales of ‘Gotham.’ For the past two
seasons, Bruno, Danny and John have masterfully honored the mythology of
‘Gotham’ and brought it to life with depth, emotion and memorable high drama,”
David Madden, President, Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company, said in a
statement. “This incredibly talented cast has redefined these iconic
characters for a new generation, and we couldn’t be more proud of this show.”
“Gotham” airs on Mondays at 8/9c on Fox. Paul Reubens begins his guest arc as Penguin’s (Robin Lord Taylor) dad, Elijah Van Dahl, next week.
