Heather Locklear Being Treated For ‘Anxiety & Depression’

Heather Locklear has checked in to an Arizona facility, seeking treatment for psychological issues, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

“Heather has been dealing with anxiety and depression. She requested an in-depth evaluation of her medication and entered into a medical facility for proper diagnosis and treatment. This is a confidential medical matter and no further statement will be released,” a rep for Locklear told Access Hollywood.

People.com was the first outlet to report the news on Tuesday.

Back in March, paramedics responded to a 911 call for a suicidal subject at Locklear’s home.

A man believed to be Locklear’s doctor (although he was never identified by name on the 911 tape) told a dispatcher he was worried about one of his patients.

“I have a patient and I have a feeling she is suicidal,” the caller told the dispatcher. “I would want someone to go [to her home].”

However, it was found the call did not originate from her residence and when authorities arrived, no problem was found.

Following the bizarre incident, a rep for Locklear said her client was fine and not in need of medical assistance.

”[I] spoke with Heather and she is fine. She never requested medical assistance and did not place a 911 call. Nor did anyone from her house call 911 or place a call requesting medical assistance,” her rep said.
