Jamie Lynn Spears’ Daughter Heads Home From The Hospital After ATV Accident

The Spears
family has shared a welcome piece of good news.

Days after
Jamie Lynn Spears’ daughter, Maddie, was hospitalized following an ATV
accident, the 25-year-old announced that her little girl is headed home.

Jamie Lynn
took to Instagram on Friday to share a photo of her and Maddie boarding a
helicopter, thanking the “amazing first responders, and medical teams at University and
Children’s Hospital in New Orleans” in her caption.

“Above all else we are so thankful for each and every prayer, because we know that is what truly made the difference,” she added. “Thank you again to everyone. We are truly blessed.”
 
Jamie Lynn is seen smiling outside the aircraft in her snap, as Maddie looks on from the passenger seat. The singer’s husband, Jamie Watson, also posted the happy announcement on his Instagram page.

On Tuesday, a Spears family rep released a statement that Maddie had regained consciousness and begun talking. According to the statement, the 8-year-old had crashed an off-road vehicle at her home in Kentwood, La., two days earlier.

Jamie Lynn’s sister, Britney Spears, chimed in on social media to share gratitude for her niece’s good prognosis.

“So grateful that Maddie was able to go home today,” she tweeted on Friday, calling the youngster’s recovery “a miracle.”

Britney went on to acknowledge those who shared their love and support throughout the difficult ordeal.

“My family appreciates it more than you will ever know,” she added.
