‘Jurassic World’ Sequel With Chris Pratt & Bryce Dallas Howard Coming In 2018

Do we hear the rumblings of more dinosaurs? Come 2018, the dinos are returning!

Universal announced a sequel to “Jurassic World” on Thursday with stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard coming back to herd raptors yet again!

The film’s director Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly will also return to pen the sequel, which will be the fifth movie in the “Jurassic” franchise.

Who will direct the upcoming film has yet to be announced.

As for where the sequel will begin, we’re guessing it might be related to those dinosaur embryos that Dr. Wu (BD Wong) took from the island. Rogue future dinos are never a good thing – for humans at least.

The sequel news is no surprise, as “Jurassic World” roared its way to become the third-highest grossing movie of all time this week with $1.522 billion at the global box office behind “Avatar” and “Titanic.” Sorry, “Avengers” — you’ll have to deal with being in fourth place.

With “Guardians of the Galaxy,” “Jurassic” and major rumors (which we hope become a reality) of taking over the “Indiana Jones” franchise, Chris Pratt is now officially Hollywood’s busiest star!
