Lisa Ling’s bundle of joy has arrived!
The journalist and her husband, Dr. Paul Song, welcomed daughter Jett Ling Song on Friday, the couple announced in a statement.
Jett weighed in at 6 lbs. and 6 oz. and was born in Santa Monica, Calif.
This is the first child for the couple, who tied the knot in 2007.
Lisa, 39 – who suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage in 2010 – announced she was expecting again in October 2012.
Happily, her pregnancy with baby Jett was complication-free.
“I’ve been so lucky – I have felt completely normal this entire time. Other than the fact that I feel like I’m getting this big gut, I didn’t have any morning sickness or anything,” Lisa, who was five months along at the time, told Kit Hoover and Billy Bush during a late-October appearance on Access Hollywood Live. “So, I’ve been very, very lucky. I’ve just been trying to be very, very cautious about everything… with diet, with exercise.”
