New ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ Trailer Released

Marvel has released a new trailer for “Guardians of the Galaxy.”

Like previous clips for the film, the new two-and-a-half minute teaser hints at a light-hearted and full of jokes.

Chris Pratt as Star-Lord/Peter Quill, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Vin Diesel as Groot and Bradley Cooper as Rocket are featured in the trailer, which delves into why the ragtag group of criminals puts aside their differences and to work together to save the galaxy.

“I look around and you know what I see? Losers. I mean, like, folks who have lost stuff – our homes, our families – and we’re facing a threat could destroy us all,” Pratt’s Star-Lord says in the clip.

The new trailer also offers the first glimpse of Karen Gillan as Nebula and Michael Rooker as Yondu.

The clip is (again) set to a retro soundtrack, including “Cherry Bomb” by The Runaways.

“Guardians of the Galaxy” hits theaters on August 1.
