Kanye West, you’re going to Hollywood!
The rapper’s complete faux “American Idol”
audition was released on Monday, showing Kanye performing “Gold
Digger” for judges Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick Jr.
during the show’s San Francisco auditions for the upcoming final season.
“My name is Kanye. I’m from the south side of
Chicago,” he tells the judges.

And, per usual with all “Idol” hopefuls, the
singer’s loved ones were waiting in the wings – in this case, in the form of a
very pregnant Kim Kardashian.
“So you nervous?” host Ryan Seacrest asks Kim.

“I’m not nervous because I do really believe in
him,” Kim plays along. “I hope they really believe in him.”
As it turns out, the gag wasn’t necessarily planned ahead of
“We were in San Francisco, and they said, ‘We’ve got a
contestant that’s just going to jump into the line,'” Seacrest previously
told E! News. “And up walked Kim and Kanye – Kim pregnant and Kanye
enthusiastic and ready to go in there. He walks in there and does a lyric about
J.Lo from one of his songs.”
The final season of
“American Idol” premieres January 6 on Fox.
