Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement quoted the 43-year-old mom of two on its Instagram feed, sharing what she told The Bump in her interview with them last month. “Someone told me not long ago that when you over-care for someone, you end up under-caring for yourself,” Emma told the outlet at the time. The actress reshared the post on her Instagram Story, elaborating on that quote of hers. “When you put everyone’s needs above your own, no one wins. I don’t do this perfectly, but I really am trying so I can be the best I can be for the people I love and adore,” she wrote. In March, it was revealed that Emma’s husband, Bruce, had Aphasia, which affects a person’s ability to process language and communicate.
