Katy Perry is reacting to Chiefs Kicker Harrison Butker’s controversial commencement speech – with her own, updated version. The pop star took to Instagram on June 1 to post an edited version of the NFL player’s speech writing, “Fixed this for my girls, my graduates, and my gays – you can do anything, congratulations and happy pride.” Butker received backlash after his commencement speech from Benedictine college last month went viral in which he spoke out against a range of topics, including abortion, IVF, surrogacy, pride month, and President Joe Biden. The Chiefs kicker also notably directly addressed the women graduating, telling them that they have had, “the most diabolical lies told to you.”
