Luigi Mangione’s Lawyer Claims People Want To Pay His Legal Fees In UnitedHealthcare CEO Shooting

Luigi Mangione’s lawyer is claiming members of the public have offered to pay for his client’s legal fees. Pennsylvania attorney Thomas Dickey talked in a CNN interview on Dec. 10 about the support his client has received. “My client appreciates the support that he has,” Dickey said. The attorney would not reveal who retained him, but did say he wouldn’t feel right accepting the offers he has received. Mangione, 26, is facing multiple charges including murder for the fatal shooting of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in Manhattan on Dec. 4. Mangione was arrested in Pennsylvania after a nearly week-long manhunt and was denied bail.
