‘Outer Banks’ Star Charles Esten On Chase Banks & Kelsea Ballerini Romance: They Have ‘Happy Hearts’

Access Hollywood guest correspondent Simone Boyce caught up with musician and “Outer Banks” star Charles Esten at the 2023 ACM Awards, and the actor dished on his role as Ward Cameron and what’s to come for Season 4. He also gushed over his longtime friend Kelsea Ballerini and co-star Chase Stokes as individuals and as a couple. “I know what a good heart Chase has, and vice versa, so they seem pretty happy, don’t you think?” he told Simone. When asked what makes them a good match, he replied, “I think they both have youthful, excited, happy hearts, and they’ve both always been very kind to me. Every time I’ve interacted with either one of them. So there’s that, but also, they’re also a little – they’re pretty funny together. They’re kooky, yeah.
