‘Outlander’s’ Sophie Skelton & Richard Rankin Use A Code Word When They’re Having A Tough Day On Set

Sophie Skelton and Richard Rankin are teasing the wild journey their “Outlander” characters Brianna and Rodger are on this season. “A big decision has to be made for Rodger and Brie this season and their whole world is turned upside down,” Sophie told Access Hollywood. Although fans can expect to go through a lot of emotions in Season 7, Sophie and Richard are looking back at their favorite memories from the past seasons. “We were filming in a pub in the ‘60s but we decided to replace our prop whiskey with actual whiskey,” Richard told Access. “And we were so drunk,” Sophie added. The two also revealed they have a code word for when they are having a tough day on set. “It’s like a safety word for when one of us is being grumpy, and it’s like life’s not that bad, we’re in a good place. Keep the spirits high,” Richard said. Season 7 of “Outlander” debuts Friday, June 16 on the STARZ app, all STARZ streaming and on-demand platform.
