Prince Andrew Loses Another Honorary Title As More Call For Him To Give Up Duke Of York Title

Prince Andrew has lost another one of his royal titles. According to ITV, councilors in the City of York voted unanimously in a meeting on Wednesday to strip Andrew of his Freedom of the City honor—the highest honor the city could bestow. The 62-year-old royal was given that ambassadorial title in 1987. Counselors also called for him to give up his Duke of York title in the wake of his out-of-court settlement with Virginia Giuffre –who alleged that Andrew sexually abused her when she was a minor.
