“Access,” currently in its 23rd season, is an Emmy® nominated, daily half-hour, nationally syndicated entertainment news program anchored by Natalie Morales. The show takes viewers behind the velvet ropes and on to the red carpet to deliver the hottest celebrity interviews and the biggest entertainment news stories in Hollywood. For the 2017-2018 season, “Access” is averaging 1.9 million daily viewers and ranks as a top syndicated entertainment news magazine among both women 25-54 and adults 25-54. “Access” delivers winning ratings for its local station partners ranking as the #1 syndicated news magazine in New York (WNBC), Los Angeles (KNBC), Chicago (WMAQ), Philadelphia (WCAU), Washington DC (WRC), and San Francisco (KNTV) among adults 25-54 for the recently completed November 2017 sweeps period.
The weekday half-hour edition of “Access” and the expanded one-hour weekend edition, provides the audience with the top buzz worthy moments in pop culture, breaking news stories and the latest trends in celebrity fashion. Joining lead anchor Morales, are correspondents Scott Evans and Kit Hoover who offer viewers a backstage pass to the hottest events in Hollywood, from all the award shows to A-list movie premieres.
AccessOnline.com and the show’s social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube offer online users exclusive photos, in-depth celebrity interviews, and behind-the-scenes access expanding on the shows on-air coverage.
“Access” is taped at the Terrace Studios, adjacent to the Universal Studios lot in Universal City, California. The senior production team consists of executive producer Rob K. Silverstein, senior producers Claudia Eaton and Mike Marson and supervising producers Adam Jordan and Ryan Patterson. In addition to the Universal City newsroom, “Access” also maintains a fully staffed New York bureau. “Access” airs on major affiliate markets including several NBC Universal Television owned stations.
